AFRICA TABERNACLES

Africa Tabernacles (formerly Africa Tabernacle Evangelism) was established in 1991 for the original purposes of assisting with church planting and building church structures during the Decade of Harvest initiative in the 1990s.
 

Since its formation, the ministry has morphed to what it is today by strategically partnering with national churches across the continent in what is, probably, the most prolific church-planting movement the world has ever seen. Africa Tabernacles has partnered with national churches to erect almost 3700 structures that serve as local churches, Bible training schools, community centers, and so much more - with the majority being local churches.
 
The strategic nature of Africa Tabernacles is to come alongside church-planting movements in Africa to expedite their efforts, by providing steel structures where it is deemed most critical. The placement of the structures is determined by ongoing evaluation that includes the following factors:

• the location of the church and the potential it has to reach a wider area

• the population growth in the area,

• the religious demographics of the area,

• the need to establish a “beachhead” in the area

• other considerations​

As we work in a partnership relationship, we see God’s hand of blessing on all of those involved in seeing HIS kingdom established.
